Eraserhead Press release schedule for 2010
This is a preliminary draft of the Eraserhead release schedule for 2010. There will most likely be more than this. The book I’m most excited about is “The Emerald Burrito of Oz.” It’s an amazing book.
First Quarter 2010:
Super Giant Monster Time! by Jeff Burk
Sunset with a Beard by Carlton Mellick III
Lick Your Neighbor by Chris Genoa
Later in the year Eraserhead Press will be releasing the following titles:
The Kobold Wizard’s Dildo of Enlightenment +2 by Carlton Mellick III
Slag Attack by Andersen Prunty
My Fake War by Andersen Prunty
Tentacle Death Trip by Jordan Krall
Jimmy Plush, Bear Detective by Garrett Cook
The Pickled Apocalypse of Pancake Island by Cameron Pierce
Die You Doughnut Bastards! by Cameron Pierce
Cripple Wolf by Cameron Pierce and Jeff Burk
HomoBomb by Jeff Burk
The Emerald Burrito of Oz by John Skipp and Mark Levinthal
Night of the Assholes by Kevin L. Donihe
2010 also marks the start of Shark vs. Badger, Eraserhead’s Comic Book imprint. There are two releases coming this year:
A Hundred Horrible Sorrows of Ogner Stump written and drawn by Andrew Goldfarb – June
As yet untitled anthology of Bizarro Comics – October
Deadite Press, Eraserhead’s horror fiction imprint, is resurrecting. The line will be focusing on the top small press horror names and classic cult reprints.
April
As yet untitled novella collection by Edward Lee
September
As yet untitled short story collection by Edward Lee
The King in Yellow by Robert Chambers

unrelated to your post, but do you happen to know what font is used in the banner at Bizarro Central? i’m making a banner for my site’s sidebar, and i’d like to stick with the “official” font, if possible.

Hi, Mr. Mellick. I’m a YA author and I’m doing a series of guest posts on my blog Writing Teen Voice. Some are short, some are long. Since you are my bizzaro god, I was hoping you would consider doing a guest blog on any take on the topic that strikes your fancy. I am very author friendly, will include links to your blog, books, etc. and can use a jpg of either you or your latest title. I know you’ve written a children’s book and I’d just love to get a fresh voice from out there where the fun lives on my clunky ol blog. And, of course, I do not censor. You can email me directly at randyrussell(AT)aol(DOT) com THANK YOU for considering!

by the way, thanks for promoting bizarro central.

Not a problem. Several of you have long been linked on our blogs and wotnot, BC probably deserves an actual button in our sidebar. Although we primarily animate, we like associating with you guys.

Though I haven’t checked out your animation yet, I think it would be great to get you more involved in the bizarro scene. We’ve got bizarro writers, artists, film makers, playwrights, musicians, but we don’t have any animators. It would be cool to have some bizarro animation. Perhaps we can play some on movie night at bizarroCon.

That would be excellent. We do comics and art, too- all of which are now on our site (or nearly so). Our most bizarro-oriented series would probably be the Tree Again cartoons… but this is going to be our big year. Bigger and Better things. So, yes, i’d love for us to get more involved in the bizarro scene. Just let me know what i need to do.
